Awards and Recognition – TSA in the Spotlight

It’s always pleasing and rewarding to see our people and so many of the projects that TSA has had the privilege of working on receiving industry awards.

The month of May has made us especially proud – winning back-to-back accolades at the Engineering New Zealand Te Ao Rangahau – Auckland Branch Awards and Master Builders Association’s New Zealand (MBA NZ) Commercial Project Awards.

Engineering New Zealand Te Ao Rangahau – Auckland Branch Awards, 26 May 2022

Sophie Tingey from our Auckland office won the ‘Outstanding Emerging Professional Award’, where nominees were required to display the ability to inspire others and show potential to contribute to engineering and be a leader of tomorrow. Since starting with TSA, Sophie has worked on the Papakura to Pukekohe Electrification Project for KiwiRail.

Sophie commented that she was honoured to receive this award from Engineering NZ and having her engineering roots recognised as a project Manager and to be representing the next generation of up-and-coming professionals in our industry.

As part of the Downtown Infrastructure Development ProgrammeTe Wānanga (Downtown Public Space) project team for winning the Arthur Meade Award.

The objectives of this award are to encourage, recognise and publicise significant contributions to the sustainability and improvement of the environment. This project embodies positive impact – demonstrating that for TSA, it is not just about the things we build, but primarily the positive legacy we help generate for the communities in which we work.

Master Builders Association’s New Zealand – Commercial Project Awards, 20 May 2022
