TSA Riley is delivering a significant portfolio of major health infrastructure projects across New Zealand and Australia, including large-scale, technically complex facilities within live environments. To support this growth, we're seeking an experienced Project Director to provide strategic leadership across major health programmes and projects.
This is a senior client-facing role where you'll act as a trusted advisor, shaping delivery strategy, governance, and commercial outcomes while leading high-performing project teams.

About the Role

To support this growth, we're seeking an experienced Project Director to provide strategic leadership across major health programmes and projects.
This is a senior client-facing role where you'll act as a trusted advisor, shaping delivery strategy, governance, and commercial outcomes while leading high-performing project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across major health projects and programmes
- Act as a senior advisor to clients, guiding project governance, delivery strategy, and risk management
- Lead commercial, contractual, and procurement outcomes in complex environments
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships and represent TSA Riley at executive level
- Mentor and support project managers, building capability and succession within the team
- Contribute to business development through strong client relationships and repeat work
You will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in architecture, engineering, or project management
- 12+ years' experience delivering projects in the built environment, with health sector experience strongly preferred
- A solid understanding of project delivery frameworks, commercial management, and construction contracts
- Confidence leading project meetings and managing complex stakeholder interfaces
- Experience working across technically complex facilities, including building services and commissioning
- Willingness to travel across regional New Zealand when required
