We're seeking a well-rounded Senior QS with excellent technical and people management skills to strengthen our Midlands cost management team.

TSA Riley are excited to have a Senior Quantity Surveyor vacancy in our central Birmingham office.

Due to continued growth in the Midlands region, we are seeking to strengthen our cost management team in Birmingham. This role will see you work on a variety of exciting projects within the built environment, carrying out a full remit of pre and post contract duties in a Project Quantity Surveying role. You will also play a vital role in supporting and mentoring junior staff’s development within the office.

Therefore, we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with great technical skills and proven people management skills to fulfil this role.

Given the nature of the pipeline of projects within the Midlands region, we are seeking candidates who have had exposure to large scale residential projects in previous roles. Likewise, prior experience of operating in the Employers Agent role would also be advantageous.

You’ll join an established, highly reputable and growing consultancy in TSA Riley. About you:
  • Proven experience at delivering quantity surveying or commercial services in a consulting or client-side environment.

Who we are:

TSA Riley has a 130-year heritage dating back to 1890 when Henry Riley Esq first established a quantity surveying practice in London. In Asia Pacific we trace our roots back to the 1980s through the merging of several respected, small project management and advisory firms.

Now, in the 21st century, we're defining and pioneering a new way of helping our clients drive greater value and impact from their built assets.

Plan. Procure. Deliver. Optimise. Decarbonise.

We call this project consulting.   We provide expert strategic, commercial and operations advice; project and cost management; carbon advice; and dispute resolution. This uniquely broad range of services - across the project lifecycle - means we understand the interdependencies at every stage. We combine this with hands-on experience and personalised service to drive greater value, impact and certainty for our clients' projects.

Our Values:
  • We win together: Collaborate openly, learn from each other and succeed as one global team.
  • We own it, always: Act with integrity and take responsibility to deliver with purpose.

  • We are curious: Embrace agility and change, explore ideas and turn our curiosity into progress.
