They engaged KPMG to provide a new accelerated delivery strategy to overcome labour resourcing, land access and construction challenges within a complex built environment. KPMG appointed TSA Riley to provide constructability advice by assessing the existing construction approach and finding ways to compress the programme and reduce costs.
Our team successfully introduced innovative construction methods, improving delivery speed and quality. After a comprehensive assessment, we recommended the adoption of value stream mapping for construction activities. This approach facilitated schedule enhancements in site operations such as elevated box girder bored piling and cantilever crosshead delivery. Additionally, TSA Riley proposed the adoption of innovative pile cut-off techniques and vacuum pumps to enhance quality and streamline bored pile operations.
