Andrew Ward

Andrew is TSA Riley’s New Zealand Water Sector Lead, helping clients and project teams navigate the growing complexity of infrastructure delivery across the sector. With a background in both contractor and client-side project management, he brings practical insight into managing risk, improving constructability, and supporting successful project outcomes.

Andrew has more than 18 years’ experience across the construction and civil industry, and has delivered projects spanning three waters, land development, roading, and aviation infrastructure for both public and private sector clients. He is known for adding value through programme analysis, construction planning and methodologies, and his overall drive for productivity improvements in the sector.

A member of the Society of Construction Contract Practitioners Independent Certifiers Panel, Andrew is highly skilled in contract administration, claims analysis, Engineer’s decisions, and dispute resolution. Alongside project work, he contributes to broader industry capability by delivering Construction Contracts training for clients and other organisations.
