Iain Macfarlane

Iain is an Associate Director at TSA Riley, based in Sydney, where he leads the Australian Retirement Living and Aged Care Sector. In this role, he leads strategy and delivery, supporting clients to deliver high-quality, purpose-driven projects that respond to the evolving needs of older Australians. He plays a key role in account management and sector growth, working closely with leading providers such as BaptistCare, HammondCare, Uniting, Catholic HealthCare and Estia Health. His client-focused approach is built on a strong understanding of stakeholder priorities, enabling him to support clear decision-making and deliver tailored, outcome-driven solutions. With over 15 years of experience in project and development management, Iain has led diverse, large-scale projects across retirement living, aged care, social and affordable housing and broader land development. He brings deep capability across the full development lifecycle—from strategy and acquisition through to delivery and operational handover.
