Michael Ward

Michael is a Founding Director of TSA Riley’s New Zealand operation and a qualified Civil Engineer and Project Manager. His career spans over 30 years, including more than a decade in construction contracting, giving him a practical understanding of project delivery from all angles. He has led significant projects across various sectors, including industrial, infrastructure, rail, hospitality, technology, commercial and aged care, often acting as the Engineer to Contract or Independent Certifier. Known for his ability to anticipate challenges and guide teams toward tailored, best-for-project outcomes, Michael combines technical expertise with mediation and facilitation skills to ensure projects start strong and stay on track.
