With rising demand and increasing pressure on retail space and processing capacity, Turners Property Group set out to expand its operational footprint in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

To support their operations and future growth, Turners has successfully delivered 2 purpose-built facilities on Moorhouse Avenue and Wairakei Road, and on Shands Road, transformed a former insulation factory into a modern storage, processing and sales hub, complete with a new office for the local team.

TSA Riley provided end to end client-side project management across all 3 sites, including design management, procurement strategy and construction management. Despite each project presenting distinct site constraints, design requirements and delivery pathways, our team ensured alignment across the overall programme to achieve consistent outcomes for Turners.

In parallel, TSA Riley’s Carbon Advisory team supported Turners in preparing for new climate related disclosure requirements, delivering embodied carbon assessments across its warehouse assets. This included establishing pre and post construction benchmarks and equipping Turners with robust data to better understand and manage the carbon profile of its portfolio.
