WestConnex, NSW

WestConnex is the largest infrastructure project in Australia. It’s a new motorway providing 33 kilometres of new road, including the duplication of the M4 east of the new M5 highways. It provides additional road capacity for Sydney commuters, including 40 kilometres of upgraded and new cycling and pedestrian paths to help connect communities in and around Sydney.

TSA is part of the Roads and Maritime Services’ Interface team, with responsibility for transaction management and design review. We are also acting in the client role to manage the private motorway company and its contractors. Our people have gained huge satisfaction from their role in successfully reducing commute times between Sydney’s western suburbs and CBD, and ultimately helping to connect people across our city.

The project has not been without its challenges, which our team have tackled with integrity and a prevailing commitment to project safety. All members of our team are encouraged to speak in a transparent and open fashion and to seek wider input into any project issues they encounter. Together, the team have maintained a critical focus on supporting the client’s interests despite competing pressures to make alternative decisions.

Our Construction Delivery team specialises in all aspects of construction delivery from procurement and sub-contractor management through to quality control and compliance. We support our clients by ensuring project scope, timing and constraints are managed effectively to ensure high-quality outcomes that exceed expectations.
Our Completions and Handover experts ensure clients have a smooth handover from construction to operations. This includes testing, commissioning, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. We have specialist experience across a range of sectors including transport, utilities, social infrastructure, commercial and residential. This enables us troubleshoot early on complex projects, to avoid delays.
