TSA Riley teamed up with Heinemann Tax & Duty Free and Sydney Airport to bring the Mega B Duty Free Store to life in the heart of Sydney’s international terminal.
Playing a pivotal role in the luxury precinct redevelopment at Sydney Airport, TSA Riley provided redevelopment and project management services. Acting as the main link between Heinemann Tax & Duty Free and Sydney Airport, our team oversaw all facets of the project, from design and construction to contract management. With a focus on navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, TSA Riley successfully managed the complexities of the project to deliver a top-tier retail space that surpassed expectations.
The outcome was an innovative retail environment that sets a new standard for luxury shopping at Sydney Airport’s SYD X precinct. With a spacious layout beneath an impressive glass ceiling, the Mega B store boasts an exclusive collection of over 200 brands, spanning perfume and cosmetics, sunglasses, fashion, and watches. A notable feature was the locally crafted halo light installation, highlighting innovation and sustainability through reduced carbon emissions from local sourcing. The seamless installation of the halo lights, despite operational hurdles, demonstrates TSA Riley’s unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency.
The project’s completion was marked by the official opening of the SYD X luxury precinct, showcasing TSA Riley, Heinemann Tax & Duty Free, and Sydney Airport’s shared commitment to delivering exceptional retail experiences.
